Cancer claims lives. And recently, cancer included in its death list the life of MaLinda Sapp.

I am saddened by the loss of MaLinda Sapp, the wife of Senior Pastor Marvin Sapp. Both MaLinda and Marvin Sapp founded the Lighthouse Full Life Center Church. Truly anointed and blessed, their ministry is one story of success. Lady MaLinda Sapp stood as the Administrative Pastor of the Church but did not limit herself in her office. She was a known speaker, a counsellor and educator. MaLinda Sapp was the trainer for Lighthouse Leadership Institute that prepares leaders for their missions. MaLinda Sapp also acted as the Manager of Marvin Sapp’s recording deals. Marvin Sapp is a well-known singer-songwriter of his genre. He has been doing Gospel music and has recorded seven albums.

In her death, MaLinda Sapp left a lot of jobs with no one to fill her shoes. Certainly, at this point, her husband Marvin is not putting these matters on top priority. He just lost his business and covenant partner. Surely, MaLinda Sapp, you will be missed by many, especially in the spiritual realm. My heart and prayers go to you, Pastor Marvin Sapp and family.

When someone from the religious sector is claimed by death, appear are the sceptics who are ready to tear down the faith. They question the ending to the devotion one is into. If there really is God, why would He allow someone like Malinda Sapp to perish? Or yet, why would He allow cancer? Cancer is such an ugly thing to create. Already, I have seen many comments of this sort. But I just shrug and dust my feet. How could an unwilling heart understand? Yes, we, the Christian world but the worst thing that could happen is the best thing that could happen. We do not expect you to understand. But we all pray that MaLinda Sapp soul may rest in peace.
