Why are Americans afraid of every single ho-ha that comes out of the mouth of someone from TV and radio? Are we supposed to believe the demi-gods of media? Hmm. I am just wondering.
Take a good look and may I represent to you my example: Glenn Beck and his Islamic Socialism conspiracy theory. He has some Americans fear Islamic Socialism, saying “We are talking about the end of Western way of life if we don’t pay attention.
He further assumes that there are three powers that emerge as one:
1. A Muslim caliphate
2. China
3. Russia
And where is North America in this picture? I can hear Glenn Beck saying, my thoughts exactly. But I am not afraid of Glenn Beck. And should anyone be afraid of a caliphate or of China and Russia?
But there is huge trend in the net regarding the matter of Islamic Socialism because of the goings on in Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood is ready to take Egypt by force to turn it into a country under Islamic Socialism.
Well, I am no genius when it comes to politics. But the terrorists Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic Socialism have no place for an already chaotic Egypt. This even after they are to join the protesters on the street. They are not the answers to Egypt’s woes. They are salt added to the wounds. I say that democracy is still the way to liberate the people –not Islamic Socialism. Hosni Mubarak already mentioned he is not seeking re-election.
Islamic Socialism is a more spiritual form of socialism. In Islamic Socialism, many believe that the Qu’ran and Muhammad teach equality and redistribution of wealth. This idea of Islamic Socialism was formed when Muhammad’s companion Abu Dharr protested against the accumulation of wealth and pushed for an equitable redistribution of wealth.
